Welcome to Yieldtally. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Yieldtally (the "Service"), operated by Yieldtally (ABN 24 551 248 991) ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. What Yieldtally is

Yieldtally is a tool for recording and tracking your own investment holdings, transactions, and dividends across supported exchanges (ASX, NASDAQ, NYSE, LSE). You manually enter your holdings data — Yieldtally does not connect to your broker or bank account, does not hold or move money on your behalf, and does not execute trades.

Market data (prices, dividends, splits, delisting status) shown in the Service is sourced from a third-party market data provider. We don't guarantee this data is accurate, complete, or up to date, and you shouldn't rely on it as your sole source of truth for financial decisions.

2. Not financial advice

Yieldtally is a record-keeping and calculation tool, not a financial adviser. Nothing in the Service — including return calculations, franking estimates, cost-basis figures, or any other output — constitutes financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. You're responsible for verifying any figures before relying on them (including for tax reporting) and for seeking independent professional advice where appropriate.

3. Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address and keep your login credentials confidential. You're responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, is used for unlawful purposes, or is abandoned or inactive for an extended period, with notice where reasonably practicable.
• You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting us (see Section 10). See our Privacy Policy for how we handle account data.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service to store or process data you don't have the right to hold;
• attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users' accounts;
• use automated means (scraping, bulk account creation, etc.) to access the Service outside of normal use;
• reverse-engineer the Service beyond what's permitted by law.

5. Your data

You retain ownership of the holdings, transaction, and dividend data you enter into the Service ("Your Data"). You grant us a licence to store, process, and display Your Data solely for the purpose of operating the Service for you. We don't sell Your Data or use it to train third-party models.

6. Service availability

Yieldtally is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue features (or the Service as a whole) at any time. Where reasonably practicable, we'll give notice before doing so.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy of market data or calculations;
• we are not liable for any investment decisions you make based on information in the Service;
• our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount (if any) you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above, which becomes the recorded version accepted by new registrations, and notified to you by email. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
